The Walt Disney Company

Creative Manager – Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney Cinemagic & Club Penguin UK & EMEA

July 2008 – October 2014

London, UK

Working within a multi-discipline broadcast marketing department, I managed a creative team to deliver the workflow of on-air live action, animated and clip-based promo and commercial campaigns. This included the implementation of branding concepts, tone of channel communication, on-air and online franchise support, maximising talent opportunities, social media campaigns and sponsorship solutions.

I acted as conduit for all lines of business within the Walt Disney Company with regards to sharing and implementing creative concepts in the UK, EMEA and all other global territories.

Nickelodeon UK & Ireland

Creative Manager

July 2005– Oct 2007

London, UK

This role allowed me to flex my creative muscles significantly. I managed and over-saw the rolling on-air promo output, alongside the commissioning of short form content and working directly with the Live output team. I was Executive Producer for 2 live shows, Control freaks and Nickheads, and spear-headed Nickelodeon’s ecological project ‘Nick’s Big Green Thing’.

Senior Producer/Creative Manager

March 2004 – July 2006

London, UK

I joined Nicktoons as it was going through a major re-brand for the UK market. The channel championed and encouraged all things animation, so I was incredibly lucky to be able to create and write bespoke continuity campaigns using new animated characters, as well as  interstitial and short-form content whilst managing a small team of permanent and freelance creative producers.

Promo Creative – Sky Movies, Sky Box Office & Sky One

February 2001 – March 2004

London, UK

The main objective during my time at Sky was to craft engaging promo campaigns for Sky Movies and Sky Box Office. I was also very lucky to be given opportunities to conceptualise, direct and produce shoots for Sky Box Office and Sky One.

Turner Broadcasting Systems

Associate and Promo Producer

March 1996 – September 2000

London, UK

The first role I undertook in the world of Broadcast Television was to write, edit and produce continuity for TNT Classic Movies. I was then promoted to re-brand TNT as an entertainment channel as well as creating and overseeing promo content. My final role at Turner was that of Promo Producer for Boomerang.
